Job Description

Business Media Professionals (BMP) is one of the GTA’s newest and fastest-growing startup marketing agencies. We are looking for a talented, dedicated and energetic Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team!

As part of our Digital Team and reporting to the Founder & Principal, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for ensuring that we deliver positive, measurable digital marketing results for our clients every single day across ad platforms like Meta and Google Ads.

In a typical day, you will:

– Manage Google Ad campaigns for our clients, including search ads, visual ads, YouTube ads and other types of ads as required
– Manage Meta Ad campaigns
– Report on Ad performance to key stakeholders
– Optimize ad strategies to drive desired results
– Create strategies for new and upcoming digital ad campaigns
– Collaborate with the Creative team to create winning content

Core Responsibilities

– Campaign Management: Plan and execute single- and multi-channel digital campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and Meta.
– Content Strategy: Create publish high-quality ad content that align with the brand voice and strategy.
– SEO & SEM: Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page optimization to improve organic search rankings.
– Performance Analytics: Use tools like Google Analytics to track website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates.
– Lead Generation: Develop email drip campaigns and lead nurturing strategies to convert prospects into paying customers.
– Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on campaign growth, ROI, and KPIs.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
– Technical Proficiency: Expertise in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush), and digital advertising networks (Google Ads and Meta are a must)
– Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex data sets and conduct A/B testing to refine marketing tactics.
– Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication in English. Please note any additional languages as these may be an asset.
– Education: Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
– Google and Hubspot certifications are an asset

Terms of employment: Freelance hourly
Hours of work expected per month: 12 to 40 per month, as of March 2026
